ST. PETE BEACH – The 24th annual Beach Goes Pops is Friday and Saturday, April 4-5 in historic Pass-A-Grille.
Beach Goes Pops is sponsored by the city of St. Pete Beach, the Pass-A-Grille Community and Vina Del Mar Island Associations, supported by the 150 plus volunteers who coordinate and help produce two nights of free concerts on Pass-A-Grille Beach in St. Pete Beach. The festivities begin Friday, April 4, 4 p.m. with food, beverages and live music until about 10:30 p.m. The venue is beachfront at 9th Avenue and Gulf Way in St. Pete Beach. Bring blankets and beach chairs. Tailspin plays from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and InCrisis, featuring Suzette Jennings, takes the stage from 8 to 10:30 p.m.
The party cranks back up again on Saturday, April 5, 4 p.m. C-Note will entertain from 5 to 7 p.m. The Late Night Brass will play from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Thirty-plus side tables, sold in advance, will be available for Saturday’s catered dinner with unlimited beer, wine and champagne by Orange Blossom Catering. The tables and seats sold are directly in front of the stage for evening performance.
Booths for food and beverage vendors with soft drinks, water, beer and wine will open at 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The following restaurants are participating: Gennaro’s, Island Grille and Raw Bar, Paradise Sweets, Smoking J’s BBQ, Saffron’s on the Go, Paradise Grille, St. Pete Beach Produce and Jackie’s Bistro on Corey Avenue.
In addition, “Art in the Park,” featuring local artists selling arts and crafts will be open from noon until twilight.
Parking and shuttle service will be available from 4 to 11 p.m. at the County Beach Park across from the Dolphin Village Shopping Center at 4600 Gulf Boulevard.
