TARPON SPRINGS - The Tarpon Springs Area Historical Society is conducting a walking tour around historic Spring Bayou’s Golden Crescent Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. noon.
The tour is being offered in collaboration with the city of Tarpon Springs and the Leepa-Tattner Museum of Art’s exhibition “An Arts Legacy – George Inness jr. in Tarpon Springs” on display through August 31.
The stroll will include visits to several of the beautiful, historic Victorian homes around Spring Bayou.
Tours will be guided by the Tarpon Springs Area Historical Society members who will share the history of this unique setting in the first incorporated city on the Pinellas peninsula.
Donation of $12.50 includes a booklet and tour.
Tour begins at Spring Boulevard and Tarpon Avenue at Spring Bayou.
