CLEARWATER BEACH – To celebrate 15 years on Clearwater Beach, Cooters Raw Bar & Restaurant will host a three-day tent party.

The weekend event will include a raffle for flat screen TVs. Profits from the raffle will benefit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

The weekend bash will kick off Friday, May 16, 6 p.m. with a pig roast, live music by The Burners and free prizes from Cooters throughout the evening.

Saturday’s festivities start at 6 p.m. with Cooters special clambake. The Burners will take the stage again at 7.

On Sunday, Cooters has planned a backyard barbecue. Tribal Style will perform Reggae and beach music beginning at 7 p.m.

Raffle tickets will be sold for chances to win three 32” flat screen TVs, with proceed profits being donated to the aquarium. Raffle tickets are $5 each or three for $10, and can be purchased at both Cooters and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

“Last year, we raised a record $1,220 for the aquarium. We’re hoping to beat that record this year,” said manager Joe Bertha.

Cooters Raw Bar & Restaurant is at 423 Poinsettia Ave.
