Back to School Bash set for Aug. 2-3

TAMPA – The 13th annual All About Kids Back to School Bash is coming to the Tampa Convention Center Aug. 2-3. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4 p.m.
Admission is $9 for adults; children 12 and under admitted free. A free backpack comes with each adult ticket. First 50 children each day will receive a Florida Aquarium ticket.
Back to School Bash features 100,000 square feet of interactive activities for children of all ages, including:
- Treat Street Snack Zone with giveaways from more than 20 companies;
- Appearances throughout the day by Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob and many more;
- The Baby Wonder Zone for expecting mothers and children 0-2 years old;
- Publix Apron’s Make a Head Meals sampling
- Publix Entertainment Stage with continuous performances with Radio Disney and Nickelodeon
- Character Parade at the start of each day
- Raggity Dog petting zoo
- Face painting and bead making
- Batting with the Tampa Bay Rays
- Hillsborough County Sheriff Office Bicycle Rodeo
