MOSI hosts Back to School Health & Safety Fair

TAMPA - Join MOSI and Tampa Bay Parenting Magazine on Saturday, Aug. 9. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and jump start your child’s school year during the Back to School Fair.
Special $10 admission ticket includes MOSI exhibits, Kids in Charge!, Dinosaurs! The Exhibition and more. Children under 2 admitted free. *IMAX Dome Theatre films require an additional fee. This event is free to MOSI members.
Learn wellness and child safety tips from community partners and get information on local children’s resources, afterschool programs, tutors, children’s retailers and more. The first 50 kids into the Fair will receive a free goody-bag filled with cool supplies.
Guests can also enjoy the Kids FUN Zone (by AmazinFlates) with an inflatable obstacle course, arts and crafts, face painting, live entertainment and free giveaways (while supplies last).
MOSI is a not-for-profit, community-based institution and educational resource dedicated to advancing public interest, knowledge, and understanding of science, industry, and technology. Kids In Charge! The Children’s Science Center at MOSI is the largest children’s science center in the nation. Disasterville, featuring WeatherQuest, MOSI’s newest permanent exhibition combines education and 10,000 square feet of interactive exhibits on the science behind natural disasters.
