TARPON SPRINGS – The sponge docks will be filled with artwork during Labor Day weekend for the Tarpon Springs Merchants Association’s annual Arts and Crafts Festival.
About 80 vendors will line the docks with their work for display and sale; food and beverages will also be for sale.
The festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1, with set-up beginning at 5 a.m. on Saturday with cleanup finishing by 7 p.m. on Monday.
Dodecanese Boulevard will be closed from Athens Street to Boulevard during the time of the event to facilitate foot traffic. All profits will be used by the Merchants Associations as donations to charities.
