Good times, good cause Quaker Steak hosts charity event

PINELLAS PARK – The St. Petersburg Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation Scavenger Hunt is Saturday, Sept. 22, noon to 10 p.m., at Quaker Steak & Lube, 10400 49th St. N., Pinellas Park.
The motorcycle scavenger hunt will start and end at Quaker Steak & Lube. Scavenger Hunt stops will include Iron Horse, JD Cycles, Barney’s and Club 28. The first bike will be out at 1 p.m. and the last bike will be out at 3 p.m. Donations for registration will be accepted.
The event also will include live music, a disc jockey, raffle, auction and vendors. Bands scheduled to perform include Project 9, noon to 2 p.m.; Jenna Stone Band, 3 to 6 p.m.; and The Red Sunday, 7 to 10 p.m.
All profits will go to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization that seeks to find the cause and cure for childhood brain tumors by supporting medical research.
