ST. PETE BEACH – The fifth annual Octoberfest Beach Crawl is Saturday, Oct. 12, at St. Pete Beach.
The fun begins at 5 p.m. at the Undertow, 3830 Gulf Blvd., then heads north on the beach. Approximately 10 bars will be included.
The purpose is to have a great time, meet lots of people and benefit the Suncoast Animal League, according to organizers. Anyone who wants to party, meet old friends, make new ones and generally just want to have a great time is invited to attend.
The plan is to meet at the Undertow at 5 p.m. where donations to benefit the Suncoast Animal League will be accepted. Participants are asked to pay by check made out to Suncoast Animal League. Beach-crawlers will leave the Undertow around 6 p.m. to visit other bars on the beach, ending at the PCI Beach Bar “whenever we get there.”
There is very limited parking at the Undertow. Attendees are advised to take the trolley ($2) or get dropped off.
“You are likely to get pretty tipsy so plan accordingly. Eat before you come, get a room, take a cab or call a friend,” organizers advise. “Do not drink and drive.”
