The fourth annual St. Paul's Lutheran ARToberfest is Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 20-21, at the church 407 S. Saturn Ave. at Gulf to Bay Boulevard in Clearwater.
CLEARWATER - The fourth annual St. Paul's Lutheran ARToberfest is Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 20-21, at the church 407 S. Saturn Ave. at Gulf to Bay Boulevard in Clearwater.
Highlights include a food truck rally on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and trick or treating for kids from 3 to 5 p.m. and the chili cookoff on Sunday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All weekend enjoy vendors selling their wares, beer, food, KidZ Zone and live music.
Saturday attendees will be entertained by Nightingale from 10 to 11 a.m. and Leslie and Rose from 11 a.m. to noon. The Suncoast Golden Oldies Revue will perform oldies, 50s, 60s and 70s tunes from noon to 2 p.m. and Shaky Ground takes over from 2 to 4 p.m. The day ends with a DJ Dance party from 3 to 6 p.m.
Start the day with the Joy Jam from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Communion will be offered between 10 and 11 a.m.
The chili cookoff is Sunday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy samples and help the judges pick a winner. Awards will be preseented from 2 to 3 p.m.
Keystone entertains from 11 a.m. to noon and Canaan Band from noon to 1 p.m. FUlly Devoted performs from 1 to 2 p.m. The day ends with music by Keystone from 3 to 4 p.m.
Several community program are planned such as flu shots from CVS, free blood pressure checks and HIV testing by the AIDs Partnership. The Humane Society is scheduled to attend as it CoreHealth Florida, Skycrest Neighbors and Bay Area Neuromuscular Therapy Centers.
