The 32nd Annual John’s Pass Seafood Festival is Friday, Oct. 25, through Sunday, Oct. 27, at historic John’s Pass Village located in Madeira Beach.
MADEIRA BEACH - For more than 30 years, John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk has offered festivities for the whole family at the annual Seafood Festival.
The 32nd Annual John’s Pass Seafood Festival Friday, Oct. 25, through Sunday, Oct. 27, takes place at Historic John’s Pass Village located in Madeira Beach. The festival features continuous musical entertainment, an art and craft show and more local seafood vendors than ever before.
Festival hours are Friday, 3 to 11 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday’s entertainment includes a block party form 7 to 11 p.m. Admission is free.
The Seafood Festival includes free concerts, art and craft show with 60 local and regional artists selling their work, plus tons of fresh local seafood and more than 100 unique retail shops located in the Village. Live music and children’s activities complete the event.
New this year, the festival opens at 3 p.m. on Friday. The food area has been expanded onto Village Boulevard and will include more seafood than ever before, healthier menu selections as well as specialty samples at more than a dozen different food stands. Celebrity judges Terry Tomlin, Outdoor Fitness editor with the Tampa Bay Times; Madeira Beach Mayor Travis Palladeno; and Mathew Powers, award-winning wine master from Vino, Fla. will judge a Best Grouper Entrée contest at 5 p.m. in the main food court.
A Halloween Block Party in the main food court is scheduled from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, sponsored by Vino Florida, events include music by DJ Infinite Skillz and an adult costume contest with $1,000 in cash and prizes. Fresh local seafood, Vino Florida wine and a cash bar will also be available.
On Saturday, a children’s Halloween costume contest begins at 3 p.m. at Windworks with prizes provided by Windwors and Kiwanis Club of Gulf Beaches. Trick or treating takes place throughout the Village from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Complimentary Trick or Treat bags will be available at the Bubba Gump Seafood Co tent near Delosa’s Pizza.

A second stage will host favorite local musicians near the Bamboo Beach Bar & Grill throughout the weekend.
Parking for the festival is available in John’s Pass Village and off-site. $15 parking within John’s Pass Village is accessible from the 129th and 131st Avenue entrances to the Village. Free parking is available at Madeira Beach Fundamental School with complimentary shuttle service to and from John’s Pass Village.
The Seafood Festival is hosted by the John’s Pass Village Association and produced by SIK Promotions.
