CLEARWATER – To celebrate the opening of stone crab season, Cooters Restaurant & Bar, 423 Poinsettia Ave., will host its 20th annual Crab Fest, Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 24-27.
The four-day big tent party will kick off Thursday, 5 p.m., and will run throughout the weekend, while supplies last. Cooters’ special Crab Fest menu will feature fresh off the boat Florida stone crab, king crab, snow crab and Dungeness crab all at special reduced prices, live music under the big tent, merchandise and drink specials.
Cooters’ Annual Crab Fest has become a tradition on Clearwater Beach for locals and visitors.
"Many of our out of town guests plan their vacations each year around Crab Fest," said Carol Mears, owner of Cooters. “While Stone crabs are generally the top draw to Crab Fest, we like to offer other crab varieties to our guests as well, so they’ll have plenty of options. Our Crab Feast Platter, which is loaded with an assortment of crab, has always been a popular choice. Our full menu will also be available throughout the weekend. Come join us for great food, music & fun.”
Valet Parking will be available.
Festival hours are 5 to 11 p.m. Thursday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; and Sunday, 11 a.m. until supplies run out.
