LARGO - The Florida Botanical Garden’s annual Holiday Lights in the Gardens event is open through Wednesday, Jan. 1. More than 750,000 brilliant LED lights illuminate pathways and plazas throughout the gardens.
Visitors also enjoy the wide array of seasonal decorations and displays, live holiday-themed entertainment and special visits with Santa Claus.
With approximately 80,000 visitors last year, the holiday event has become a perennial favorite for residents and visitors of the Tampa Bay area. Every year, new displays delight patrons with fresh concepts and colors to celebrate the season.
An up-to-date schedule of nightly family friendly entertainment, including selected dates for Santa’s visits, is available at www.flbg.org.
The Holiday Lights in the Gardens is open daily from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. A donation of $2 per person (13 years and older) is recommended. Refreshments are also available for sale each night and the Foundation will have a Holiday Gift Cart in addition to the specialty items at the Botanical Bounty gift shop.
