CLEARWATER - The Red Velvet Cake War, a jones hope wooten comedy, comes to West Coast Players Theatre Jan. 18 through Feb. 3.

The three Verdeen cousins - Gaynelle, Peaches, and Jimmie - could not have picked a worse time to throw their family reunion. Their outrageous antics have raised eyebrows and delighted gossips in the small town of Sweetgum, Texas. Toss in their self righteous Aunt LaMerle and a host of eccentric characters and you have a wildly funny and hilarious play.
The show stars Colleen Coughenour, Janice Creneti, Patricia Bates Smith, John Kobasic, Lisa O'Brien, Cherie Albury, Jessica Burchfield, John Timberlake, Donna Donnelly, Mabel LaCola and Rick Bronson. Directed by Ashlie Johnson.
Show times are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. with Sunday Matinees at 2 p.m.
