Watch out, Clouseau! Russian spy Olga (Stephanie Moffett ) confesses her affections while the madman Dreyfus (Robert Colwell) plots revenge against Inspector Jacques Clouseau (Richard Miller, center).
GULFPORT - The Pink Panther Strikes Again, produced by Island Community Theatre, opens a 12-performance run on Feb. 4, continuing through Feb. 21, at Catherine Hickman Theater.
Inspector Jacques Clouseau (a role originally created by Peter Sellers) fights for the future of all mankind in the greatest caper of his brilliant and utterly clumsy career. Former boss Charles Dreyfus has escaped the asylum where he was committed following previous altercations with Clouseau, and is holding a nuclear physicist and his daughter hostage as part of a nefarious scheme to get revenge on his nemesis. A zany assortment of Pink Panthers, international assassins and the dreaded Doomsday machine inhabit this madcap comedy by William Gleason, based on the hit film by Blake Edwards and Frank Waldman.
The Pink Panther Strikes Again will be presented at the Catherine Hickman Theater, 5501 27th Ave. S. The curtain goes up at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, and 2 p.m. on Sundays.
General admission tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students; ICT also offers two for $20 Thursdays. Tickets are available online at www.islandcommunitytheatre.com or by calling the Island Community Theatre hotline at 727-430-2328 for more information.
