PINELLAS PARK - The return engagement of Ain't Retirement Grand!, the musical that broke all attendance records at Venue Theatre, has been extended by popular demand through March 31.
Show times are 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday with Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m.
The musical by Gil Perlroth, who also penned Gulfport the Musical and Francis Wilson: The Man And His Theater as well as the recent hit, Once Upon A Bench, has new songs, new jokes, and a new cast consisting of Nancy Wright, Susan Taylor, Mike Arnold, and Bill Harber. Director is Daniel Harris.
Ain't Retirement Grand! is a spoof on the subject of retirement and contains songs about early bird specials, grandchildren, wills, doctors, pets, and exercise among others. With more than 20 original songs, the show appeals to retirees, those about to retire, baby boomers, seniors and anyone who wants a fun evening in the theater.
