Massenkoff Russian Folk Festival takes stage at TSPAC

TARPON SPRINGS - The Massenkoff Russian Folk Festival is Sunday, April 6, 3 p.m., at the Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center, 324 East Pine Street.
The festival stars Nikolai Massenkoff, the Balalaika Ensemble and the Russian Folk Ballet.
Tickets are $25; $23 for center members and are available by calling the box office at 727-942-5605 or online at www.tarponarts.org.
Massenkoff and his company have performed all over the world, including Carnegie Hall; with major symphony orchestras, at prestigious performing arts centers; major universities and colleges; before 90,000 people at the Olympics; more than 100 performances at Epcot Center; and on television.
Massenkoff Russian Folk Festival presents the Russian people in song, dance and music. The music reflect Russia through its history from the tsarist to the contemporary periods.
The Balalaika Ensemble features virtuoso musicians from the Russian Conservatory. The Russian Folk Ballet dances Russian as well as Ukrainian and Georgian traditional dances.
The program is a balanced presentation music, song and dance, and will delight the entire audience.
