DUNEDIN - “Timid New World: Six comedies about our scary future,” written by Jack Gilhooley, will be presented by The Gypsy Stage Repertory Friday and Saturday, April 25-26, at The SAFI Space, 1714 County Road One (Braemoor Plaza) Suite 2 in Dunedin.
Show time is 8 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday.
The show features a staged reading of six quirky, funny plays by Jack Gilhooley. Gilhooley is an accomplished, award winning, published playwright whose work has been produced world-wide from New York City to Los Angeles to Dublin.
Cost is pay what you can at the door. Suggested donation is $10. Libations and snacks will be available for a donation as well.
Proceeds go to benefit The Showcase Arts Foundation Inc. (SAFI) a 501 c3 nonprofit theater organization based in Tampa Bay.
Gilhooley is one of Tampa Bay’s most successful playwrights. He is a two-time Fulbright artist and has won countless awards and grants for his play writing. Gilhooley’s full length plays have had productions on Off-Broadway stages, in highly acclaimed theater festivals and have often garnered high critical praise.”
