ST. PETERSBURG - American Stage Theater announces its July schedule of After Hour performances, including its Sunday Comedy Series and Cabaret Drama Series.

First up for the Sunday Comedy Series is Hawk and Wayne’s It’s a Living! on July 6, 6 p.m. Inspired by an audience member's suggestion of their place of employment, Hawk and Wayne will take you through an unscripted, hilarious, improvised stream of consciousness complete with bizarre employees, workplace politics and corporate shenanigans with wit, surrealism and non-stop laughs! First Sunday of every month running through August 2014.

Tickets are $10. The show is performed in the lobby cabaret. Full cash bar service will be available.

The laughs continue on Sunday, July 13, 6 p.m., with The Available Cupholders An Improv Comedy Show Based on Work Experiences. The Available Cupholders theatre ensemble is dedicated to producing experimental, enriching and entertaining improvisational comedy. The Cupholders aspire to explore and expose an art form cloaked in natural communication, believing Improv to be the theatre of everyday existence.

Unlocking the power of this art form through live performance and various performative media, they strive to be on the cusp of a daring theatrical experience that takes place anytime, anywhere. Their goal is to elevate the form and playing field, shedding light on the ever-changing zeitgeist in which we live, with belly laughs along the way.

Tickets are $10 ticket purchase. The show is performed in the lobby cabaret. Full cash bar service will be available.

For Cabaret Drama Series presents The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler A Smash Hit returns with new cast members on Sunday, July 27, 6 p.m.

Obie Award-winner Eve Ensler’s whirlwind tour of a forbidden zone: The Vagina Monologues introduces a wildly divergent gathering of female voices, including a 6-year-old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnesses the birth of her granddaughter, and a feminist happy to have found a man who "liked to look at it."

Tickets are “Pay-What-You-Can” or $15 advance ticket purchase. Suggested donation is $10-$20 at the door. The show is performed in the lobby cabaret. Full cash bar service will be available.
