CLEARWATER - Fall is on its way and The Marcia P. Hoffman Performing Arts Institute at Ruth Eckerd Hall is ready to open its doors to children, teens and adults (1 year and up) beginning Sept. 9.
The Exploratory Division offers opportunities to discover talents and have fun experiencing the arts with a wide variety of classes for all ages, ranging from Kid Make Music for 15 months to 3 years, Tiny Dancer: Ballet/Tap Combo for ages 4 to 6 years, Singing Stars for ages 7 to 9 years, On Camera Acting for ages 11 to 14 years and Adult Tap for ages 19 and up.
The Exploratory Division allows students from toddlers through adults to select classes that suit their interests. These 10-week courses offer fun opportunities to discover talents, explore interests and experience the arts. No experience is necessary and auditions are not required.
The Preparatory Division offers classes for the serious student (ages 7-19) who has prior experience and wishes to pursue the arts as a career or through further study. Auditions may be required for any Preparatory Division class offered.
Private lessons are also offered in dance, voice, drama, and classical instrumental music.
All Marcia P. Hoffman Performing Arts Institute instructors are professionals in their fields with years of instruction and/or performance experience in music, theater, movement and dance.
