ST. PETERSBURG - freeFall Theatre presents Larry Alexander and Joel Gennari in an all-new cabaret Love. From All Angles for one night only Sunday, Sept. 23, 7 p.m.
Love. From All Angles takes a sometimes serious, sometimes not so serious look at the good, the bad, and the often incredibly uncomfortable sides of love. With songs from the 1920s to the present Alexander and Gennari, and maybe a few fuzzy friends, will tell stories of their pursuit of love with well-known standards, Broadway classics and current pop hits.
If you've ever been in or out of love you will enjoy watching these two dynamic performers take you on an hour-long journey to answer the age-old question, "what is this thing called Love?"
Larry Alexander had performed on Broadway as Marius in Les Miserables and toured the world singing with Liza Minnelli. In between he has toured Europe and North America playing Tony in West Side Story and Freddy in My Fair Lady.
Joel Gennari is a native of California who now resides here in Tampa bay. For the past 13 years Joel has made his career in the arts, from acting, singing and dancing to set decoration and puppetry. If you have seen a musical in the area in the past couple years, odds are you've seen Joel.
Love. From All Angles is a part of freeFall’s Tandem Series and will be performed on the set of Cabaret, which is currently running at freefall through Sept. 30.
Tickets are $15. For more information and tickets visit www.freeFalltheatre.com or call 727-498-5205.
