Auditions announced for Romance in D

CLEARWATER - West Coast Players will hold auditions for the romantic comedy, Romance in D by James Sherman, Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 1-2, 7 p.m., at West Coast Players Theatre, 21905 U.S. 19 N., Clearwater.
Take two side-by-side apartments, two recluses, and two well-meaning meddlesome parents; blend gently with music, poetry, books, and food to produce a Romance in D.
Director Mary Kay Cyrus seeks four actors: a man and a woman (age 30’s-40’s) and a man and a woman (age 50’s – 60’s).
Auditions will be cold readings from the script.
Production dates are Nov. 30 through Dec. 16.

Character Descriptions:
Isabel Fox, a poet, 30’s-40’s; Charles Norton, a musician, 30’s-40’s, piano/keyboard ability a plus but not required; George Fox, Isabel’s Father, 50’s-60’s, a literature buff; and Helen Norton, Charle’s mother, 50’s-60’s, a Jewish mother.
