ST. PETERSBURG - Continuing the tradition of live community theatre in its 83rd season, the St. Petersburg Little Theatre presents "The Dairy of Anne Frank, by The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich & Albert Hackett, Oct. 26–Nov. 11.

Director Ron Zietz will awaken the triumphant spirit of the young girl whose legacy continues to inspire hope in a world filled with hate. One need only open the daily newspaper to understand that hate seems alive and well today, here and around the world.

And so the WWII story of Anne Frank still resonates and the message within this beautifully crafted play offers the opportunity to laugh, to cry and to connect with what really matters; family, friends and the hope for a better tomorrow.

Keven Renken, head of the Drama Department at PCCA the Magnate Arts School at Gibbs High School plays Otto Frank with an outstanding cast from all over the peninsula ranging from South St. Petersburg to Tarpon Springs.

Come and experience this tense and tender drama of optimism in the face of evil.

Show times are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $18 for adults and $10 for students. Group rates available. For tickets and more information, call or visit www.splt.info.

The theatre is located just off 275 at 4025 31st. St. South, St. Petersburg.

SPLT will partner with The Florida Holocaust Museum during this production. The Anne Frank Exhibit remains on display through Dec. 23. For more information about the exhibit call 727-820-0100 or visit www.flholocaustmuseum.org
