Playhouse presents 'Annie Get Your Gun'

CLEARWATER - Irving Berlin's "Annie Get Your Gun" is coming to the Francis Wilson Playhouse Wednesday, Nov. 4, through Sunday, Nov. 15.

This local premiere features numbers that everyone knows and loves: There's No Business Like Show Business; Doin' What Comes Natur'lly; You Can't Get A Man With A Gun; Anything You Can Do, and many more. Ethel Merman, Mary Martin, Dolores Gray, Judy Garland, Betty Hutton and even London's latest star, Jane Horrocks, will all be jealous of our Annie.

Jason Fortner directs and choreographs; Mark Jelks is musical director, assisted by Rodney Carpenter. Janet Tucker and Ka-Rim Troyli are taking care of things backstage. The show features 35 cast members.

Christina Capehart plays Annie and Frank Butler is played by Trey Ryan.

A champagne premiere is set for Wednesday Nov. 4. Tickets are $27.

The doors open Wednesday through Saturday at 8 7 p.m. and the curtain rises at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday matinees begin at 2 p.m. with doors opening at 1 p.m.

Tickets are $25; $12 for students.
