CMA opens Dolphin Tale Adventure in downtown Clearwater

CLEARWATER - Clearwater Marine Aquarium opens Winter’s Dolphin Tale Adventure, noon, Wednesday, Dec. 14 at the former Harborview Center, 300 Cleveland St., in downtown Clearwater.
The area's newest attraction highlights Dolphin Tale, a 3-D major motion picture, starring none other than local favorite Winter.
Dolphin Tale Adventure includes re-built scenes, movie images, behind the scenes videos and a variety of actual props used and filmed in Dolphin Tale - all donated by Alcon Entertainment.
The movie, produced by Warner Bros.-based Alcon Entertainment, tells Winter's story of how she lost her tail and the work by so many to fit her with a prostheic tale that saved her life. The movie also stars Morgan Freeman, Harry Connick, Jr. and Ashley Judd.
The attraction includes two mini-theaters, an interactive kid’s area, Winter’s true tail history, a new and expanded retail store and more.
Guests may purchase tickets on location or at CMA where combo packages to both attractions will be sold, with free Jolley Trolley transportation from one location to the other. Admission for kids 12 and under admission is $9.95, with a combo ticket to both CMA and Winter’s Dolphin Tale Adventure only $19.95.
