King for a Day golfers treated to lunch

BELLEAIR – The Belleair Country Club Women’s Golf Association held its annual King for a Day event Feb. 12.
Three ladies selected a gentleman to be the fourth golfer in their group to compete against other foursomes in an 18-hole event. Following the tournament, the “kings” were treated to a royal lunch.
The low net winners were T.J. Williams, Stephanie Melker, Kathy Scherer and Dena Hale.
Low gross winners were John Brandvik, Suzanne Johnson, Kiely Allen and Lisa Hirsh.
Second low net winners were Henry Heath, Laurette Paterson, Pat Fleet and Helena Hivon.
The team scoring the third low net was comprised of Jim Snyder, Cheri Boudreau, Mary O’Conor and Nancy Richardson.
Scott Bailey, Mary Mascaro, Debbie Kudelko and Kim Schumacher had the fourth low net score.
Coming in fifth place was the team of Todd Elison, Shirley Long, Karin Kern and Karen Koch.
