Largo United opens spring registration LARGO – In-person registration for Largo United Soccer Club’s 2013 season will open Tuesday, March 5 and Monday, March 11, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at 1779 Belcher Road S. in Largo. The club is open to boys and girls ages 5 to 12. Practices will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 4-30, 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., at the Belcher Soccer Complex, 1779 Belcher Road. The cost is $60 and includes two T-shirts, games and skills sessions by licensed coaches each night and a pizza party on the last night.

Celtic FC Florida offers soccer This spring, Celtic FC Florida is offering two different small-sided soccer leagues for you to choose from: Achieva Spring Soccer Rec Division is a co-ed, instructional soccer league for recreational players 4-12 years old. The format is less formal and emphasizes small-sided games with smaller fields and goals. The season runs from April to May. Games are played both at Seminole Jr. Warhawk Complex & Belleair Rec Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Achieva Spring Soccer Plus Division is a co-ed, more serious instructional soccer league for competitive players 7-18 years old. The 3v3 format is a fast, high-scoring game that emphasizes quick decision- making and more touches on the ball with no goalies. The season runs April through May. All games are played at the Seminole Jr. Warhawk Complex on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Both leagues are sure to be fun, so pass the word on and sign up early to save $10 (deadline of Feb. 28. Price is $90/player and the final registration deadline is March 17. Visit www.celticfl.net.
Adult soccer signups start SEMINOLE – The city of Seminole Recreation Division is accepting registration for its new adult soccer league, which begins play March 6 at the Recreation Center fields. Teams will consist of eight players and will play a 10-game schedule, plys playoffs. The season will run through May 15. The registration fee is $400 per team or $40 per player. Shooting Stars registration starts SEMINOLE – The Seminole Shooting Stars youth soccer program is taking registration for its spring season at the Seminole Recreation Center. Boys and girls ages 4 to 12 are eligible to participate. The cost is $70 for members and $105 for non-members with a $10 sibling discount. Practice begins on March 12 and games start March 21. The season continues through May 2. Games will be played Thursday nights from 6 to 8. For more information, call 391-8345.
