Stampede is next on the horizon

SEMINOLE - In what promises to be a “Hare Racing” experience, the Greater Seminole Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the 13th Annual Seminole Stampede, a 1-mile, 5K and 10K race to the finish at Walsingham Park on Saturday, April 8.
Mandatory packet pick-up will be available at the kick-off celebration and race expo on Friday, April 7, 4 to 8 p.m., at Jim Graden’s Cardio-Karate Center, 9104 Seminole Blvd.
Race packet pick-up and late registration will also be available on race morning until 7:15 a.m.
The race will be Saturday, April 8, at Walsingham Park, 12620 102nd Ave.
Late Registration until 7:15 a.m.
7:45 a.m. Classic 10K
8 a.m. Stampede 5K
8:45 a.m. 1 mile Family Fun Run
9:15 a.m. Stampede Awards Party
No dogs will be permitted on the race course.
Parking is available at 102nd Avenue, Walsingham Park.
Registration fees:
5K and 10K:
$20 before March 25
$25 after March 25th
One-Mile Family Fun Run
$10 before March 25th
$15 after March 25th
Payment can be made to the Seminole Chamber of Commerce and mailed to the chamber at 8400 113th St. N. Seminole, FL 33775-3337. Registration forms are available online at seminolestampede.com. Registration can be done in person at Jim Graden’s Cardio-Karate Center, 9104 Seminole Blvd.
