INDIAN ROCKS BEACH – The Indian Rocks Beach Homeowners Association will be holding the 15th Annual Guppy’s Gulfside Gallop 5K run/walk fundraiser on Friday, April 4, on the beach, behind the county park at 1700 Gulf Blvd, Indian Rocks Beach.
The sunset run will raise money for the many civic projects funded by the Indian Rocks Beach Homeowners Association.
The park is 1 mile north of Walsingham Road and 1 mile south of Belleair Causeway. The beach race starts and finishes at the park. Runners proceed south along the water’s edge to the 1-mile or 5K sign and return northbound to the county park, tracked with bib transponder timing chips, sponsored by Plumlee Gulf Beach Realty.
Registration opens at 5:30 p.m. and the race begins at 6:30 p.m. The registration fee is $20 before April 1 or $25 the day of the race. All participants registered by March 25 are guaranteed a race T-shirt. All fitness levels are welcome.

The race will be followed by a fun beach party to include age group awards and prizes, live music by Trio, food vendors, beer and wine, a massage tent, sporting goods vendors, a kids area and more. Everyone is welcome to attend the after party, even if you don’t run.
