INDIAN ROCKS BEACH – Guppy’s Gulfside Gallop 5K Run and one-mile fun run will be held Saturday, April 6, 8:30 a.m., at Indian Rocks Beach County Park, 1700 Gulf Blvd.
The park is one mile north of Walsingham Road and on mile south of Belleair Causeway. The race will be held on the beach.
All runners registered by Friday, March 29, are guaranteed to receive a Guppy’s Gallop T-shirt. Ankle Transponder Timing chips sponsored by Chase Bank will be used.
The early registration fee through Wednesday, April 3, is $20; $25 from Thursday, April 4 through race day and includes a race T-shirt if they are available.
The starting line is behind the county park directly on the beach. Runners will run south until they reach either the one-mile or 5K turn around the sign and return to the county park where the Chase Bank Finish line will be located.
First, second and third place age group winners will receive awards after the race.
