YMCA offers soccer camp PALM HARBOR – The Palm Harbor branch of the YMCA of the Suncoast, 1600 16th St., plans a soccer camp for ages 6 to 14 June 24-28, 9 a.m. to noon. Hoops camp set at middle school PALM HARBOR – The Palm Harbor branch of the YMCA of the Suncoast is offering a full-day basketball camp for ages 9 to 14 June 24-27, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at Palm Harbor Middle School. Kayaking camp set PALM HARBOR – The Centre is offering a Kayaking Adventures Camp for ages 8 to 15 the week of June 17-21, 9 a.m. to noon, at Pop Stansell Park, 797 Florida Ave. The camp will introduce participants to kayaking and will teach campers about birds, fish and sea mammals they might encounter. Dunedin Jr. Falcons registration begins DUNEDIN – The Dunedin Jr. Falcons’ registration for the upcoming season is underway. Registration for the Dunedin Jr. Falcons, tackle football and cheerleading, ages 7-14, and flag football and cheerleading, ages 4-6, will be held May 25, June 8, June 22, July 1, July 8 and July 10. Registration on Saturdays is from 10 to noon and on weekdays from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Dunedin Community Center, 1920 Pinehurst Road.
The cost for tackle football is $200 and $225 for cheerleading. The cost for flag football is $100 and $125 for cheerleading. A $75 nonrefundable deposit is due at registration. SYAA hosts summer soccer camps SEMINOLE –The Seminole Youth Athletic Association hosts several camps at the SYAA Sports Complex, 12100 90th Ave., this summer. The Challenger British Soccer Camp takes place Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 21. British coaches fly over to the United States to coach these camps. Camp programs include a free ball and shirt. Cost for mini two-hour camps, 9 to 11 a.m., for ages 3 through 5 is $100; half-day camps, 9 a.m. to noon, are available for players ages 6 through 14 for $130; and full-day camps, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., are available for players 6 through 14 for $180.
The TetraBrazil Soccer Camp takes place Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12. The camp brings Brazilian coaches to America to teach the sport.
