Article published on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007
PINELLAS COUNTY – A new sports show featuring sports journalists from the Tampa Bay area has begun on Bright House Networks Cable Channel 47.

The 30-minute show, “Catch 47’s Press Box,” airs Tuesdays at 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Catch 47 will produce the show in conjunction with the St. Petersburg Times.

The show’s host is Times sports columnist Tom Jones. Other journalists from the Tampa Bay area will join him weekly to discuss local and national sports issues.

Catch 47 is the area’s only 24-hour local sports channel. In its third year of existence, the channel has expanded programming with weekly offerings of live high school, college, and professional games. Catch 47 is the official cable channel of the University of South Florida.
