SEMINOLE – Registration has begun for the Greater Seminole Area Chamber of Commerce’s 28th annual Golf Tournament on Thursday, Oct. 24, at Seminole Lake Country Club, 6100 Augusta Blvd.
The cost of the four-person scramble is $125 per person and includes lunch, a goody bag, beverages, super tickets, cart, greens fee and dinner. Check in and cook out begin at 11:30 a.m., shotgun start at 1 p.m., and the awards dinner will take place at approximately 6 p.m.
Participants could win $10,000 for making a hole-in-one on the 10th hole. Other contests that day include closest to pin, longest drive, straightest drive, putting and chipping.
Sponsors are needed at levels beginning at $50 for golf hole signs, $100 for contest sponsorships, $1,500 for dinner sponsorships and $3,000 for a Silver Sponsor.
Major sponsors ($1,500 or more) will receive entries for four players, hole sponsor sign, emphasis in all Chamber tournament promotions and recognition at the tournament awards dinner. In-kind sponsors who donate food, beverages, gift bag items and prizes for the drawing also are needed, and will be acknowledged at the tournament awards dinner.
