Osceola High baseball benefit tournament
SEMINOLE – A golf tournament that will benefit the baseball program at Osceola High School is planned Saturday, Sept. 20, 1 p.m., at The Tides Golf Club, 11832 66th Ave. N. The format is a four-player scramble. The entry fee is $75 a person, which includes greens fee, food, beverages, tee package and numerous prizes. Blessed Sacrament tournament
SEMINOLE – Blessed Sacrament School plans its annual golf tournament Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Tides Golf Club, 11832 66th Ave. N. The four-player scramble gets under way with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The entry fee is $85 a player, which includes greens fee, cart and lunch. There also will be a hole-in-one contest, a raffle and silent auction. The tournament limit is 80 players. Inaugural SYAA golf tournament
SEMINOLE – The Seminole Youth Athletic Association plans a fundraising golf tournament Saturday, Oct. 11, at The Tides Golf Club. Call Bill Sines at 641-6681.

Seminole Chamber tournament
SEMINOLE – Registration is currently under way for the Seminole Chamber of Commerce’s annual golf tournament Thursday, Oct. 23, at Seminole Lake Country Club. The event begins at noon with a cookout by Seminole Professional Firefighters No. 2896, followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start. A dinner will follow at 6 p.m. The chamber is seeking entries, sponsors and volunteers. Call 392-3245 for more information.

Warhawk Golf Classic
SEMINOLE – The Seminole High School baseball program plans its annual golf tournament Saturday, Oct. 25, at Pasadena Yacht and Country Club. The 2008 Warhawk Golf Classic gets under way with registration at 11:30 a.m. and a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The entry fee is $125. CharityWorks Cup Challenge
BELLEAIR – The sixth annual CharityWorks Cup Challenge to benefit the CharityWorks Holiday Gift Giving Fund will be Thursday, Nov. 20, at Belleair Country Club. The shotgun team scramble will begin at 12:30 p.m. Contests and competitions will include three team net prizes, one team gross prize, hole-in-one, closest to the pin, longest drive, putting, plus an exciting helicopter ball drop. Tournament entry fees are $200 for individual; $800 for foursome; $250 for hole sponsor and $20 dinner tickets for nongolfers. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
