INDIAN SHORES – Photographers will have an opportunity to learn a few pointers from photographer Michael Leonard Saturday Dec. 28, noon to 4 p.m., at the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, 18328 Gulf Blvd.
The event is open to the public – any age. Beginners with new cameras especially welcome.
Those participating will come away understanding important concepts about a digital camera like white balance, image size, lighting, file types and other tips that improve photography.
Suggested donations are $15 per person and $25 per family.
Proceeds will go to the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary need your support. All funds received for this one day event are guaranteed to go exclusively for helping to support the seabird population at the sanctuary.
Leonard is an award winning photographer from Portland, Maine. He has done work for National Geographic Wild and the Weather Channel, is active in photography clubs, the Photographic Society of America, member of North American Photoshop Professionals, leads an Adobe User Group, active in Photo Safaris and his work can be seen calendars, television advertising, annual reports, maps, text books, and in many tourist magazines in Maine.
