BELLEAIR – Betty Crisler and Geoffrey Mattison recently participated in the U.S. Croquet Association’s annual Seniors and Masters Tournament at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach.
Although it is specifically reserved for players over the age of 60, it attracts the finest players from all over the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. Competing over the period of five days in both singles and doubles categories were 67 players.
Crisler, playing with Marjorie Campbell of Greenwich, Conn., was runner-up in the second flight doubles and Mattison was runner-up in the first flight singles.
