LARGO – A pet CPR and first aid class will be presented Saturday, Jan. 19, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Highland Recreation Complex, 400 Highland Ave.
The class will feature mouth-to-snout resuscitation using functioning pet mannequins. Participants also will learn about common pet toxins and how to care for an injured pet. The program includes a certificate of completion with a free pet first aid booklet.
Cost is $65 for residents and $81.25 for nonresidents. A Largo Recreation membership card is required. The class is limited to 10 participants and preregistration is required by Thursday, Jan. 17.
