Save Our Strays, a nonprofit cat rescue in Pinellas County, has a policy to take back adopted cats. However, many cats have been returned this winter and the foster homes are full. There is no place to put these cats until new forever homes can be found for them.
As a no-kill organization, Save Our Strays is actively seeking new foster families to care for these cats on a temporary or permanent basis. Many are sweet, loving kitties that just want to be a lap cat again.
Foster participants must be able to drive and be available for a home visit from a current volunteer prior to volunteering. Dry food and litter are provided if needed.
