Canine workshop LARGO – A canine delinquents workshop will be offered Saturday, Feb. 15, 2 to 3 p.m., at SPCA Tampa Bay, 9099 130th Ave. N. This workshop is designed for owners of dogs that have not grown out of their puppy behaviors. Topics covered include inappropriate chewing, darting out the door, barking and elimination. Doga class LARGO – Doga, aka Yoga with Your Dog, will be offered Sunday, Feb. 16, 2 to 3 p.m., at SPCA Tampa Bay, 9099 130th Ave. N. Doga is an effective form of partner yoga that pairs people and their canine companions in a soothing practice to de-stress and calm while building connection. Dogs and humans benefit from the one-on-one attention, massage and stretching. Yoga instructor Lisa Recchione, MA, E-RYT, KRI certified, teaches the practice. Cost is $15 per dog. Call 388-0452.
Microchip clinic LARGO – A microchip clinic will be presented Thursday, Feb. 20, 4 to 6 p.m., at SPCA Tampa Bay, 9099 130th Ave. N. Microchip technology is a great way to locate lost pets. SPCA hosts low-cost microchip clinics third Thursdays, 4 to 6 p.m. Cost is $25 for cats, dogs, and rabbits. Call 388-0452.
Puppy socialization workshop LARGO – A puppy socialization workshop will be offered Saturday, Feb. 22, 2 to 2:30 p.m., at SPCA Tampa Bay, 9099 130th Ave. N. This class provides a start to socializing puppies. Puppies from 3 months to 1 year can come a meet other puppies to play and socialize. Also included in this class our training instructor will go over proper introductions and body language. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and learn about what a puppy needs and what gives a puppy a chance to build proper connections with other puppies. Cost is $15 per puppy.
