Birds need loving homes

SEMINOLE – The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Tampa Bay will host a bird adoption day with Safe Haven Avian Placement Services on Sunday, Feb. 25, noon to 5 p.m.

Dozens of exotic birds such as parakeets and cockatoos will be looking for new loving homes. Potential adopters should be able to commit several hours a day to interaction with the birds. Please bring completed applications to event along with proof of appropriate size travel carrier.
