Humane Society to offer microchip clinic
Article published on Wednesday, April 30, 2008
CLEARWATER – The Humane Society of Pinellas will offer a microchip clinic on Saturday, May 10, 1 to 3:30 p.m., at 3040 State Road 590.
Each year more than 10 million pets are lost.
Statistics suggest that 50 percent of dogs and 75 percent of cats are without collars by the time they reach a shelter. Microchipping helps ensure pets are safe by giving them permanent identification.
Pets with a microchip have the best chance of being reunited with their owners.
The cost is $10. Call 797-7722.
