LARGO – The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Tampa Bay is inundated with fabulous felines.
More than 100 cats and kittens of all ages, breeds and personalities are in search of life-long, human companions to give them a second chance for life.
Throughout June Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat month, adoption fees are 50 percent off for cats that are six months and older, just $12.50. The adoption includes vaccinations, spaying or neutering, microchip for identification and a cat talk class. This crash course in frisky feline behavior is for owners; cats do not attend. The next cat talk class is Saturday, June 13.
Visitors can see adoptable pets at the SPCA in Largo, 9099 130th Ave. N., Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays, noon to 5 p.m.
