Meet Buddy (the white-and-brown pup) and Bart, Tampa Bay Newspapers' September Pet Winners of the Month.
Buddy and Bartís family includes their mom, Megan Keller; dad, Rich Cerrone; and their human brother, Ryan Cerrone, 10, all of Seminole.
September is a big month for Buddy. He was rescued from the SPCA in Largo two years ago on Sept. 22, and he also turns 4 this month. He is very independent, an angel when left alone, and he loves driving around in the Jeep. He also loves just to lie around, preferably in a human lap, and he adores belly rubs. On walks, he does best off the leash or in his own doggie stroller.
His furry pal Bart was rescued when he was 9.5-months old and is now 2 years old. Sadly, he was purchased from Craigslist from someone trying to make a quick buck, and when his new family received him, he was in very poor health. Bart almost didnít survive, but now he is doing amazingly well. He is a little sensitive and always wants to please his family, but if heís left alone, his wild side comes out and heíll chew anything he can find.
Buddy and Bart also have a kitty brother named Oscar and a Jack Russell brother named Bubba.
As September's featured pets, they will receive a $25 gift certificate to Largo Feed or Park Feed in Pinellas Park. Send your pet photos to Alexandra Lundahl at alundahl@TBNweekly.com.
