CLEARWATER – Gold Coast Greyhound Adoptions, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the placement of retired racing greyhounds, recently announced its schedule of meet-and-greet events where people can meet and pet greyhounds that are available for adoption.
The following events are scheduled:
• Every Saturday – 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at PetSmart, Largo Mall, Ulmerton Road and Seminole Boulevard.
• Every third Saturday – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Tractor Supply Co., 8447 State Road 54, New Port Richey
• Every third Friday – 6 to 10 p.m., at Music Event, Second Avenue and Main Street, Safety Harbor
• Every fourth Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Pet Supplies Plus, 1500 N. McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater
Gold Coast Greyhound Adoptions Inc. is a nonprofit organization that is racing-neutral and dedicated educating the public regarding the gentle nature and wonderful temperament of the greyhound breed, and to the placement of retired racing greyhounds into qualified, caring and loving homes.
