KC police host pet donation drive

KENNETH CITY - The Kenneth City Police Department is hosting its fourth annual Pet Donation Drive to benefit homeless pets at the SPCA of Tampa Bay.
In 2009, hundreds of pets have been rescued and brought to the SPCA of Tampa Bay. These pets were all victims from abuse, neglect and abandonment. While awaiting placement in new homes, these pets need the following items;
Dog and cat food, canned or dry; cat litter; gently used collars and leashes; dog bones; empty shoe boxes; blankets; towels; sheets; pet crates; dog and cat treats; stainless steel dog and cat bowls,
To keep them clean, donate items such as trash bags, newspapers, window cleaner, bleach, laundry detergent, dish soap and paper towels. Office supplies also are requested.
The donation drive continues through Jan. 1, 2010. The donations can be dropped off at the Kenneth City Police Department or the SPCA of Tampa Bay.
Donations also will be accepted on Saturday, Dec. 5, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Pinellas Park Town Square Plaza, and on Sunday, Dec. 5, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Kenneth City Police Department, 4600 58th St. N.
