Re: ‘Smart phones make us isolationists,’ by Thomas Michalski, April 17-18 Editor: Your appropriate smart phone thoughts may be generalized in application to our other seemingly endless array of modern electronic devices as well. The ever-ascending information overload has become quite oppressive, overwhelming, and ultimately character changing in a highly negative strangely anti-social fashion, metaphorically acting rather like a huge gigantic tsunami wave sweeping over not only this country, but also the world. I wonder from whence such an unconventional divisive humanly destructive concept might have originated? Seriously Tom, I do wonder. God bless you, Thomas.
