SAFETY HARBOR – Paint Your Heart Out in Safety Harbor is celebrating 24 years of painting homes in the community. Volunteers are needed to help on Saturday, March 29, 7:30 a.m. to noon. Volunteers will meet at First Baptist Church, 525 14th Ave.
Volunteers will receive breakfast, lunch, and a T-shirt. Several homes are selected for painting and landscape beautification each year. Volunteer efforts make a positive impact on the neighborhood and aid those homeowners who find it difficult to keep up in the current economic climate.
Since its inception in Safety Harbor, more than 120 homes in the city have been painted. Thanks to many volunteers, the event now also includes front yard landscape and clean up. Individuals work along volunteer professional painters to make the project a success.
