LARGO – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Pinellas County’s board of directors recently announced Patrick Craven will serve as executive successor.
Upon Susan Rolston’s retirement in June, Craven will become the face of Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Pinellas branch.
“The time has come to turn to the future,” Susan Rolston said in a press release. Rolston is the current CEO. “We pass the leadership reins over to Pat Craven, the next leader of Big Brothers Big Sisters Pinellas. With more than 20 years of executive leadership with the Boy Scouts and an Eagle Scout himself, Pat’s guidance begins today.”
Prior to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Pinellas, Craven spent 24 years serving the Boy Scouts of America in senior leadership roles. During his time with the Scouts he assumed a variety of positions including executive director, chief financial officer, strategic planner and director of development.
“I’d like to thank Susan for her 30 years of service to children both at Big Brothers Big Sisters and in Pinellas County Schools,” Craven said. “How excited and humbled I am to be given this opportunity to continue the legacy building upon what Susan, the staff, the board and our volunteers have started.”
