As of Tuesday, Oct. 26, limited supplies of flu shots were available for at-risk children between the ages of 2 and 18, according to the Pinellas County Health Department.
Shots for at-risk children are available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the following locations:
ST. PETERSBURG CENTER 205 Dr. M.L. King St. N. St. Petersburg, FL 33701
PINELLAS PARK CENTER 6350 76th Ave. N. Pinellas Park, FL 33781
CLEARWATER CENTER 310 N. Myrtle Ave. Clearwater, FL 33755
At-risk children are those children with documented chronic medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes, cancer, cystic fibrosis, leukemia; or those children who are on long-term aspirin therapy. The Pinellas County Health Department will not provide flu vaccine to children without written documentation of an at-risk condition. Immunizations are administered on a first-come, first-served basis (appointments will not be given).
