Article published on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006
PINELLAS COUNTY – Ken Burke, Pinellas County Clerk for the Circuit Court, is among three county clerks chosen to serve on the Justice for all Floridians: Ensuring Meaningful Access for Self-Represented Litigants workshop by Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Barbara J. Pariente.

Burke was chosen to represent clerks from large counties. The workshop will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 24, in Orlando and is being offered to ensure meaningful access is provided by the Florida judicial system to self-represented litigants that are constrained by economics, language and other barriers.

Burke will join other clerks, judges, attorneys and other court administration staff in formulating a framework of services that will be the most efficient and effective in helping self-represented litigants.
