Deadline to register for March election approaching

PINELLAS COUNTY – Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark is reminding county residents that Monday, Feb. 12 is the voter registration deadline for anyone voting in the March 13 Pinellas County Referendum and Municipal Elections.
The renewal of the Penny for Pinellas and several municipal elections will be on the March 13 ballot. Newcomers from other states and others who haven’t registered to vote have until Feb. 12 to register in order to vote. New residents from other Florida counties may register an address change through Election Day.
To help register as many people as possible before that deadline, Clark is scheduling numerous voter registration events throughout the county during the week of Feb. 5, including registration events at Pinellas County Blockbuster locations Feb. 10 and 11.
Registration is always available during regular business hours at any public library, driver license office or any government office handling social services or disabilities. For a list of registration sites, visit www.votepinellas.com/RegistrationAgencies.
